For the third time this season, sophomore outside hitter Riley Lyman has been named the Scenic West Athletic Conference Player of the Week. Lyman was also named the Defensive Player of the Week earlier in the season.
The 6-foot-1 native of Central, Utah helped lead the seventh-ranked Badgers to a pair of road victories over the weekend, including a 3-0 win at No. 18 Utah State Eastern and a 3-0 win at Colorado Northwestern. Lyman racked up 24 kills over two matches, averaging 12 kills per match. Lyman hit an impressive .375 over the two matches, including .433 (14-1-30) against No. 18 Utah State Eastern. As a solid, six-rotation player, Lyman also produced 21 digs in two matches, averaging 10.5 digs per match. She was also credited with a perfect 1.000 serve reception efficiency over the two matches.
On the season, Lyman has recorded 15 matches with 10 or more kills, 22 matches with 10 or more digs and has registered a total of 12 double-doubles.
