Laura was selected as the Battle of the Beach (Southwest Florida Tournament) MVP. She had 3 matches with over 50 assists. She is currently #4 in Total Assists in the country. I was most impressed that the tournament director picked her for MVP over Sandora Sasaki who had phenomenal numbers too. It proved that her play as a setter did not go unnoticed among very strong competition (2 teams in the top 7 NJCAA)
