Kia continues to show why she is one of the top 5 defensive players in the country. She is cumulatively digging 6.8 digs per game on the season. This weekend she was at 6.5 digs per game and in our 3 game win over Casper she had 9.7 digs per game. On the weekend she had 97 digs in 15 games. She would have had more digs if we didn’t have 36 blocks as a team or if we had to play more games to win our matches. On top of her defense, Kia is proving to be an all-around valuable libero. She is passing a 2.2 on the season. Against Casper this weekend she passed a 2.4 with 64% perfect passes. Kia also had 7 aces this weekend and ten “3 point serves” that kept opponents out of system.
