CSI scores a point at NJCAA National Championships
COUNCIL BLUFFS, IA-The #4 seeded Southern Idaho and the #1 seeded Salt Lake advanced to the semifinals of the NJCAA Volleyball National Championship on Thursday afternoon.
#1 Salt Lake defeated Spartanburg Methodist College 3-0 (25-8, 25-12, 25-16) in the first round this afternoon. Later this evening the Bruins defeated Hillsborough Community College 3-0 (25-21, 25-15, 25-20).
#4 Southern Idaho defeated Seminole Stae College 3-0 (25-17,25-12, 25-19) in the their afternoon match and moved on and defeated Miami Dade College 3-1 (25-21,21-25, 25-20, 25-14) in their evening match.
With the victories it sets up an all SWAC semifinal game set for first serve at 5:30 PM MT and the winner will be advancing to the National Championship on Saturday night.
