CSI WBB wins Coca-Cola Classic

TWIN FALLS - The College of Southern Idaho overcame an early-game shooting slump to beat Lake Region 72-64 Saturday in the final night of the Coca-Cola Classic Tournament.
Five Golden Eagle players scored in double digits. More importantly, CSI used pressure defense to force 23 turnovers and score on some easy transition buckets. The Golden Eagles also out-rebounded the bigger Lake Region team 39-36.
Tayllor Gipson led the Golden Eagles with 14 points, eight assists, six rebounds and three steals.
CSI, which improves to 5-5 on the season, hosts Eastern Idaho Select All-Star team Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
