SLCC Women's Basketball defeats USU Eastern 78-62

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah- Salt Lake Community College women's basketball defeated USU Eastern in Price, Utah 78-62. The Bruins dominated the first half going into the locker room ahead 54-26 and closed out the game receiving their first conference victory of the season.
As a team, the Bruins out rebounded USU Eastern 47-28.
Clarissa Sabedra led the Bruins with 18 points and three steals.
Cassidy Whitney posted double digits with 15 points and 14 rebounds.
Shelby Richards had 10 points and Tenesha Daniels gained 12 points on the night.
The Bruins are now 10-2 on the season.
SLCC travels to Colorado Northwestern to take on the Spartan's Saturday afternoon. Tipoff is at 3 p.m.
