LEXINGTON, Kentucky (August 24, 2018) -- The Scenic West Athletic Conference (SWAC) announced Friday a partnership with BlueFrame Technology to create the SWAC Network, a conference-wide video streaming platform that will include syndication to NJCAA TV - the official digital video network of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). The two year agreement will encompass all live-streamed video content for the conference and its member institutions.

The SWAC - BlueFrame partnership will enable all six current member colleges, and future members, to broadcast their contests to one platform beginning with the 2018-19 sports season.

"We are thrilled to announce our partnership with BlueFrame as the SWAC and our member institutions move to expand the web streaming of our events," said Dexter Irvin, from College of Southern Nevada. "One of our main goals as a conference is to promote and increase the visibility of our student-athletes and our institutions. We are excited to have the SWAC Network assist us in those efforts"

Each SWAC member institution will have their own college-branded video portal where their live video content will be available. Each broadcast produced by member institutions will also be available to view on the SWAC Network website www.scenicwestnetwork.com. In addition, as part of BlueFrame’s agreement with the conference and overall partnership with the NJCAA, all SWAC Network content will be available through a SWAC-branded channel in the NJCAA TV over-the-top (OTT) streaming apps on Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Android TV, and Roku devices as well as NJCAA TV mobile apps for iOs and Android.

The new SWAC Network ensures fans the ability to watch their favorite teams and events from around the conference live and on the platform or device of their choice.

"BlueFrame is thrilled to launch this robust digital footprint for the SWAC and its member colleges,” said Mark Krug, Director of Business Development and Partnerships at BlueFrame Technology. “The SWAC Network is the first dedicated conference network within the NJCAA and sets a high bar within the two-year college athletics market. This is a tremendous opportunity for both BlueFrame and the SWAC to elevate their brands while showcasing the great competition across the league from its teams and student-athletes.”

The SWAC Network will debut in the fall of 2018. The SWAC’'s six member schools will be encouraged to stream as many athletic events possible and the league will also showcase its conference, region, and district playoffs on the network. The league and its member institutions will also be able to utilize the network to produce other programming such as coach's shows, graduation ceremonies, and student-athlete profiles.

More details, such as website URLs for member institution's video portals, as well as OTT apps, will be released at a later date.
