The Utah State Eastern men's basketball team had to travel to Twin Falls, Idaho, to play in the Scenic West Athletic Conference postseason tournament. Since Eastern earned the No. 3 seed, they were matched up against the No. 2-seeded Snow College Badgers.
Eastern started the contest strong offensively, holding an 18-17 lead at the halfway point of the first half. Snow College took the lead shortly after, and the Eagles kept the score close as the half continued. A few free throws from Ike Palmer cut the Badgers' lead to single digits as they trailed 48-39 at the half.
Ike Palmer led the Eagles with 11 points in the half. Eight different Eagles found the bottom of the net in the first half.
Snow College started the second half with a 12-3 run, extending their lead to 18 points. Early in the half, the Eagles trailed by as many as 22 points. With time running out, the Eagles chipped away at Snow's lead. Unfortunately, there was not enough time on the clock as Eastern fell, 97-84.
Ike Palmer finished the game with 25 points on 8-12 shooting. Kayin Turner finished with 16 points, 13 of which came from the second half. Isaac Castagnetto finished with 13 points and nine rebounds, one short of a double-double.
The loss officially ends the 2025-2026 season for the Eagles. They end the season with a 22-9 record, the team's best record since the 2013-2014 season.
