The Bru Cru Take Game One of the Region 18 Championship

Twin Falls, Idaho- No. 2 seed Salt Lake defeated No. 1 seed Southern Idaho 14-2 in six innings in game one of the Region 18 Championship. 

CSI scored the first run and last run of the game, but the Bru Cru got control for good after plating two runs in the top of the second. Salt Lake scored four runs in the fourth, fifth, and sixth innings. RHP Easton Davies pitched all six innings for Salt Lake. Davies was solid as he allowed two runs and five hits. The Oklahoma commit had five strikeouts and faced 24 batters total. 

The Bruin offense totaled 13 hits in the big win. 1B Kaden Hodson homered and doubled as he went 3-4 with three RBI and three runs scored. C AJ Thomas went 2-2 with a triple, two walks, and two RBI. Thomas and RF Kade Gambill each scored four runs for the Bruins. Eight Salt Lake batters recorded a hit and four of them had a multi-hit game.

The Bru Cru will play game two of the Region 18 Championship Series at No. 1 Seed CSI. First pitch of game two will be on Friday May, 8th at 4:00 pm in Twin Falls, Idaho.
