Herriman, Utah- No. 6 Salt Lake City (9-0-2, 6-0-2 SWAC) and No. 18 USU-Eastern (6–4-2, 4-2-2 SWAC) played to a 1-1 draw on Saturday afternoon.

The Eagles got on the board first with a goal by Brookley Rasmussen in the 29th minute. The shot by Rasmussen would become the only shot on goal for USU-Eastern in the game.

Salt Lake's Kennedy Prestwich was fouled in the box in the 37th minute. Ashley Price took the penalty shot for the Bruins and converted from the spot, making it a 1-1 game. It looked like initially the shot was saved by the Eagles goalkeeper, but the ball got through and Salt Lake equalized.

Scoring chances were slim as the Bruins only had four shots on target. Salt Lake attempted all 9 of the game's corner kicks.
