Price, Utah - The 21st-ranked College of Southern Idaho Softball Team beat USU Eastern 13-3 and 9-2 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play Saturday.
In game one Adi Hansen and Rilyne Keck each finished 3-for-3. Hansen had two stolen bases and Keck had a double and three RBI. Anslie Yazzie was 1-for-2 with three RBI and Kyli Carrell had a two-RBI home run, while Shyann Banasky was 2-for-3. Sophia Bristow earned the win in the circle, going all five innings and giving up three runs on five hits with four strikeouts.
Hansen was solid again in game two, going 1-for-2 with two RBI along with three walks. Yazzie was 2-for-3 with a double and Carrell was 3-for-4. Jade Romero was 2-for-4 with a double and Lexi Crowley was 1-for-2 with a double and two RBI. Keck also had a two-RBI double.
Emerson Fuller got the win, going all seven innings and giving up no earned runs on six hits.
CSI, 34-11 overall and 23-5 in conference play, hosts North Idaho College Thursday and Friday to finish up the regular season.
