Price, Utah- No. 20 Salt Lake Baseball (20-8) split their doubleheader against USU-Eastern (20-19).
Salt Lake won game two of the series 15-2 in six innings. The Bruins scored in every inning except the second. Salt Lake had 16 hits in the game. 1B Kaden Hodson led the way as he went 4-4 with four RBI. 2B Gage Wareham and LF Lute Chavez both recorded three hits and combined to score seven runs. Despite giving up ten hits RHP Colin Roos earned the win and only allowed two runs.
The Bru Cru lost a wild game three 11-8. Salt Lake scored three runs in the top of the second to break open the scoring. USU-E quickly responded with five runs in the bottom half of the inning. Salt Lake trailed 6-4 entering the seventh inning. An RBI single from 3B Riley Brown and RBI doubles from PH Kade Gambill and CF Tyler West gave Salt Lake a 8-6 lead after the top of the seventh. The Eagles tied the game and moments later hit a three-run walk off home run to stun the Bruins.
