TWIN FALLS, Idaho - (Thursday, March 13, 2025)- No. 4 seed Salt Lake Women's basketball upset No. 1 seed CSI 65-55 in the SWAC Regional semi-final. Ines Babaya had a team-high 16 points and nine rebounds for the Bruins. Tahys Da Silva and Ahnica Russell-Brown both dropped eleven points for Salt Lake. 

The Bruins outscored the Golden Eagles by ten in the second half and got enough stops in crunch time. Laura Di Stefano and Da Silva combined for nine blocks for Salt Lake. 

Kennedy Gillete led CSI with 24 points in the loss.

Salt Lake will play No. 2 seed Snow College on Friday March, 14th. Tip-off is at 3:00 in the CSI Gymnasium.
