CASPER, Wyoming - Salt Lake lost to Casper College 67-55 in the Bruins first game of the National Tournament. The Bruins went in as the No. 18 seed and the T-Birds as the No. 15 seed.
Salt Lake got blitzed in the first half and trailed 40-24. The Bruins bounced back in the second half, but could not recover completely.
Tahys Da Silva led Salt Lake with 14 points off the bench. Laura Di Stefano was the other Salt Lake player in double figures with eleven points.
The Bruins finish their season with a 21-11 record and a memorable Region 18 Championship run. Salt Lake went in as the four seed in the Conference Tournament and won back to back games to earn an automatic bid to the National Tournament.
